Small, but very well done, it begins by explaining the history of the region through several maps that situate the city and its relations with the rest of the world. A ten-minute film in English or Arabic traces Dubai from its origins to the present day. Interactive videos, touch screens, photographs and antique objects help visitors understand the spectacular evolution of this city, which has always been a trading center.
