DOCKS
Old wooden ships moored in Dubai, carrying tons of endless crates of goods every day.
An anachronistic spectacle that these old wooden ships moored over several hundred metres, with their heterogeneous cargo piled up at the quayside: fabrics, hi-fi, household appliances, tyres. The cargo crates pile up endlessly, sometimes still unloaded on men's backs. They keep the mark of the past, when, coming from India or Persia, they docked to supply the various souks. Even today, the activity of the souks of Deira and Bur Dubai remains important: tons of goods pass through there every day.
