THE CAMEL SOAP FACTORY
A small factory where you can discover all the secrets of camel milk soap-making.
This tiny factory of luxurious natural soaps is a fresh surprise, lost in the dust of the industrial area, between the paint sheds and the car garages. Founded by Australian Stevi Lowmass, this factory smells of rosemary, wood, amber and incense and has been making camel milk soaps since 2003. Wearing a protective net on your head, you can enter the two cold rooms and understand all the secrets of the artisanal production of these soaps, which are so well known and appreciated that they are copied. The manufacturing process must be followed as precisely as a recipe. The camel milk comes in cans from the farms of Al Ain, the olive oil comes from Syria and the fragrances come from Oman and the surrounding area.
After the visit, you can leave with one of these handmade soaps in different scents. Perfect gift ideas, the "Grit", exfoliating soaps with camel milk and coffee powder, lip balm and soaps for babies' delicate skin are all wonders you won't find in other shops in town.
