Founded in Damascus in 2006 with the aim of highlighting contemporary Syrian art, Ayyam moved to Dubai in 2006 and has become one of the leading art spaces in the Arab world, promoting the best of contemporary art from the Middle East. It represents internationally renowned artists such as Samia Halaby, Nadim Karam and Sawan Dahoul. The gallery publishes small booklets on the artists' works, which are highly instructive for understanding contemporary regional art.
The gallery has two exhibition spaces in Dubai, the second at Alserkal Avenue, Al-Qhoz, where you can ask to see, if you are a buyer, the enormous warehouse of over 3,000 works of art.
