Tashkeel was founded in 2008 by the artist and niece of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Lateefa Bint Maktoum wants to promote contemporary art and design in the Emirates. Great Emirati artists and calligraphers have passed through this place of inspiration. This quiet place, in an Emirati district on the outskirts of Dubai, is sheltered from the main roads that surround it and is worth the trip to stroll around and relax.
