Wafi Gourmet is an institution in the Gulf. All of Lebanon... or almost: spices, mezze, small pastries from the Levant. Everything is delicious, fine and of good quality. There are several stores in the town, but this one is located right in front of the fountains, so don't hesitate to sample a few starters in front of the fountains in the evening too. Why not take home some Zaatar? A traditional blend of spices and herbs, with thyme and sesame, which can be enjoyed on a slice of toast with a drizzle of olive oil!
