FESTIVAL DE JAZZ DE SKOPJE

Every year since 1995, the Skopje jazz festival is a major event in the cultural season. It hosts jazz musicians from the Balkans and around the world in three places in the city: at the Opera, at the Universal Hall (boulevard Partizanski Odredi) and at the City Hall Center (15, Quai Dimitar Quai). Programming is a beautiful part of the most modern currents of jazz, while also looking at the world music aspects that this music can take. Many French artists (Henri Texier, Michel Portal, Eric Seduces, etc.) have already been produced in the past as part of this festival, which is both a musical and a mundane event.
