Day 1: Museum of Agricultural and Automotive Heritage in Salviac

To get an idea of the life of this rural world, the first excursion is to Benoît Jouclar's house, a true lover of authenticity. To enter his world, head for Salviac, in the Bourianne region, to his Museum of Agricultural and Automotive Heritage. It's all in the name! On 6 000 m², you can admire a collection of more than 250 tractors, 150 cars and utilities, 200 two-wheelers and a thousand parts and objects to discover in their environment of time. It is one of the most important collections of its kind in the South-West, created by Benoît who has been accumulating these small (and large) treasures since the age of 14!
After the visit, nothing could be more natural than to stop for dinner at the restaurant Chez Mourgues in Peyrilles. Here we continue our excursion into the flavours of yesteryear with the famous "mique", a local twist on bread soup. This restaurant is known for serving the best in the region.
