The purpose of this stay is to make you discover the mountains of Oman. We share small roads, crossing isolated villages and discovering fabulous landscapes. Summits in summits will make stopovers in palm groves, oasis for tired travelers.

Day 1: From Muscat to Wadi Bani Awf
Steps: Barka, Al-Rawdah, Mascate, Rustaq
From Muscat, take road 1 to Muladdah, then road 11 to Al Hazm. Visit the fort (with audio guide). Continue to Rustaq (possible visit of the fort and the hot spring of Ayn Al Kasfah) and then on road 13 to Al Awabi. about 3 km before the village, enter the gorge of the splendid Wadi Bani Awf. Cross the first part of the wadi by a track that first runs along the dry river bed and then goes up to the mountains. Passing through many hamlets as if embedded in the rock, before arriving at Bilad Sayt. Visit of the palm grove and the village. Overnight in the simple but nickel guesthouse of Bait Bimah in the heart of Wadi Bani Awf.
FORT
Day 2: Misfah
Cross the second section of the wadi, following the track that leads to the summit of Birkat al-Sharaf, the highest pass above the Jebel Akhdar mountain range. Breathtaking slideshow. Then descent to the village of Misfah al Abreyeen and discovery of its palm grove. Lunch break in Misfah. In the afternoon, visit Misfah's small museum, the honey house, stroll along the aflaj amidst the terraced plantations, discover the old village, short signposted hike along the side of a small canyon... Or take part in a sporting activity (canyoning, mountain biking, trekking, etc.) or a guided tour of the oasis to learn all about the ancestral falaj system with Canyon Adventures & Tours. Overnight stay in one of the lovely guesthouses.
Day 3: Misfah and Nizwa
Steps: Barka, Tanuf, Al-Rawdah, Mascate, Misfah, Jabrin, Nizwa
We set off in the early hours of the morning for a beautiful day of curiosity punctuated by multiple visits, with a choice of either stopping at each site without spending too much time on it to get a global overview of the beauties of this area, or choosing 2 or 3 depending on your preferences. In order, between Misfah and Nizwa: Al Hamra and its living museum of Bait Al Safah; Al Hoota Cave, an impressive cavern (guided tour); Balha Fort, a masterly Unesco-listed citadel (but no interior layout); Jabrin Castle, the most refined in the Sultanate (ornate rooms adorned with furniture, instructive audio guide); the oasis town of Nizwa, its fort, its souks.. Return to Muscat or overnight in guesthouses in the old town.
