How to get there - Amboseli National Park
Nairobi, first contact
With children, visiting the elephant orphanage, The David Sheldrick's Wildlife Trust, is a beautiful entry. The centre is open to the public every day, but only at the time of bottle for young, from 11 am to pm. A unique moment. The Giraffe Centre, an educational centre for children, is also a beautiful visit to make.
On the way to Maasai Mara
It takes about 5h30 by car, crossing the Rift Valley. Discover the first wildlife scenes on arrival. The great migration takes place from early July to mid-September and is a grandiose spectacle in magnificent and varied landscapes. You can also reach the plains of the Mara by plane. The lodges offer all-inclusive stays with game drives
Park of Maasaï Mara
Two complete safari days will allow you to explore a large part of the reserve, track the movement of certain groups of animals and have every chance of meeting the "big five" (elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, rhino) several times. Picnics in nature are memorable.
Maasaï Mara Park to see even more
The second day is an opportunity to get out of the "big axes". Your guide can take you to less busy corners, which can hide beautiful surprises.
Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate National Park
An ideal stopover for families. This small park (opened in 1984), in a setting composed of cliffs and gorges, is very pleasant to visit because you can walk alone, on foot or by mountain bike. The spectacle is magnificent, especially since wild animals also circulate freely in the park. You will meet zebras, giraffes, warthogs, waterbucks and other gazelles. A sense of space and freedom guaranteed!
Amboseli National Park, in the footsteps of Hemingway and Kessel
Steps: Amboseli National Park
The small and popular Amboseli park is easy to visit in the dry season (July, August, September). It is the revered kingdom of pachyderms. The eternal snows of Kilimanjaro are the backdrop to this magical place, which has fascinated many... It is also the park that inspired Joseph Kessel to write his famous novel The Lion.
Tsavo West National Park
Steps: Taita Hills
The road between Amboseli and Tsavo (only in 4x4) is superb. West Tsavo enjoys a variety of fabulous landscapes and offers exceptional views of the Chyulu Hills, Taita Hills and Kilimanjaro. Many possibilities of short walks for walkers. The slopes are good and very numerous.
Diani or Tiwi Beaches
White sand, coconut palms, turquoise water, shellfish and crustaceans... Diani and Tiwi beaches are the most beautiful on the Kenyan coast. An idyllic setting to enjoy the sweetness of the tropics. Enjoy snorkeling in Diani with complete peace of mind. Shops, restaurants, hotel complexes.... Diani is undoubtedly more lively and busy than Tiwi.
Diani or Tiwi: rest...
Excursion to the marine park of Kisite (from October to March), extremely rich in aquatic flora and fauna, the main attraction being dolphins.
