Visit of Santiago

Landing in Santiago de Chile. Head towards the centre of the capital to discover the presidential palace, "La Moneda", a symbol of the country's turbulent political past. Walk through the popular "Paseo Ahumada" and take a meal break at the central market for an authentic introduction to Chilean cuisine.

Bicycles and vineyards in the Maipo Valley
Santiago de Chile. Head south to reach the wine-growing lands of the Maipo Valley. Here, you can cycle through the vineyards and enjoy the delicious carmenere, a grape variety that has greatly contributed to the international reputation of Chilean wine... not to mention, of course, other classics such as Cabernet Sauvignon and local Syrah. After this busy day, come back to Santiago.
Trip to Atacama

Journey to Puerto Varas

From Puerto Montt, head to Puerto Varas, a beautiful city with the undeniable German colonial heritage and the breathtaking view of the Osorno volcano. A passage by the nearby town Frutillar, if only to taste a local "Kuchen", is worth it.
Rafting on the Petrohue River

In the afternoon, hike Mount Dorotea, a 400-metre mountain above Puerto Natales that offers - in just 3 hours - an incredible view of the region's fjords and glaciers.
Navigation to Grey Glacier

Puerto Natales. Early in the morning, head to the eastern part of Torres Del Paine National Park. Start the majestic navigation to the Grey Glacier, which will take you about 30 metres from one of Chile's most famous glaciers. You will also see Mount Paine Grande, the highest mountain in the park, which rises to 3,050 metres. Return to Puerto Natales for a well-deserved rest.

Trekking "Base Torres"

Puerto Natales. Enter the Torres del Paine National Park via "Laguna Amarga" and start the "Base Torres" trekking (tower base viewpoint) from the Las Torres area. Enter the Ascencio Valley and cross the silent forest before starting the final ascent. The last few metres - rather demanding - are well worth it, with an unbeatable view of the granite peaks that give the park its name. After these 22 kilometers of trekking, on the way to Puerto Natales for a last night in Patagonia.
