How to get there - Kep
Joining the coast
Steps: Kep
From Phnom Penh, Krong, a few kilometres from the Vietnamese border, is only a few hours away. Go straight to the essentials: the market is overflowing with seafood just landed fishing vessels. The atmosphere is popular and good child between shrimp pyramids and traps with crabs. What to do in the atmosphere of the sea!
Krong National Park
Follow the park hiking trail, which runs quickly (less than 10 km with a maximum elevation of 260 metres). You will enjoy a beautiful view of the bay and the island of Pho Quoc, a small paradise on water but belonging to neighbouring Viet Nam. In the afternoon, excursions to the complex of Grottes caves.
Step in Kampot
Steps: Kep
Road to Kampot in the morning. Start your visit to the city by that of the market, built at the time of French domination. If it has lost its authenticity and if the activity is less hectic than in Krong, the streets around it have preserved their architecture of the 1920 s and provide an ideal framework for an urban walk. In the afternoon, visit the village of Chumkriel to observe the work of paludiers.
Walk on the island
Rent a bike and, as if you were on the island of Ré, offer a day to ride on Trey Koh Island with its small hamlets built on piles between rice and salt marshes and whose monotony is broken only by the few temples and pagodas.
Bokor National Park
Steps: Kampot
Still departing from Kampot, immerse yourself in the dense vegetation of Bokor National Park. The old French spa is the beautiful goal of a walk that will lead you, along the paths, to enchanting waterfalls, the former villa of King Sihanouk or the ruins of a casino dating back to colonial times. And everywhere, very nice views of the coast!

A paradise island
Drive in the morning to Koh Thmei Island. A paradisiacal islet bathed in turquoise waters and a "golden" beach that bears its name particularly well. On the agenda: nothing! Just lazing around and swimming!
