How to get there - Le Lamentin

Arrival in Martinique

Steps: Le Lamentin

You arrive at Le Lamentin airport. Perhaps you're exhausted from the journey and the jet lag, and have only one thought in mind: to head off to your holiday destination. A good shower, a welcome ti-punch and off to bed.

Day 2

4×4 excursion

Plage des Anses d'Arlet.

To get to know Martinique, start your stay with a 4×4 excursion. Two very different circuits and concepts are proposed: the North or the South. For authenticity and the tropical forest, prefer the North.

Scuba diving

Steps: Les Anses D'Arlet

The most difficult part of this day's exploration of the abundant seabed along Martinique's coastline will be choosing the right spot, as there are so many to choose from! Les Anses d'Arlet remains a fairly safe starting point, however: from here you can explore Pointe Burgos and its abundant fauna, as well as the Nahoon wreck off Cap Salomon.

Day 4

Mountain bike outing

Détente au bord de la côte Atlantique

Once you've collected your equipment from one of the island's rental agencies, choose the itinerary of your choice. Once again, there are many options to choose from, and the regions to be covered are each more splendid than the last. Between the 10 km loop and the steeper 50 km circuits, the levels of difficulty are equally varied.

Water sports

Steps: Le Robert

Devote the day to your favorite water sports: take a water scooter or canoe-kayak trip around Le Robert, Le François, Les Trois-Îlets or Cap-Chevalier, or maybe go windsurfing at Cap-Chevalier.

Hiking in the Savane des Pétrifications

Steps: Sainte-Anne

This is perhaps one of the most original hikes on the island: the hiking trail that crosses the Savane des Pétrifications (5 hours round trip, easy level), in the Sainte-Anne peninsula. In this desert area, which owes its name to fossilized trees, you can see some cactus and acacias. The landscape is stunning.
