How to get there - Stockholm

Arrival in the late afternoon and transfer to Stockholm, installation, dinner and overnight stay. The Stockholm archipelago and its myriad of islets with wooded rivers in the interior will allow you to immerse yourself in Swedish nature in an original way, with alternating accommodations in hostels in the cities or in authentic cabins.
From island to island in a kayak
Steps: Stockholm
Departure to visit the Stockholm archipelago by kayak. Ferry to cross the islets of the Stockholm archipelago, arriving on the wild and isolated island of Värmdö. Kayaking from island to island in this wilderness area whose calm waters are full of surprises (seals and seabirds). 4 hours of kayaking.

In the morning, departure by ferry to the center of Stockholm. Visit of this atypical city spread over several islands, starting with the Gamla Stan district. Historic district with cobbled streets housing the Royal Castle and the Nobel Museum. Then direction the open air museum of Skansen occupying the island of Djugarden and which reproduces all Sweden in miniature.

Tyresta National Park
After a short transfer to leave the city, hike in the Tyresta national park, a unique environment gathering typical landscapes of the glacier valleys of central Sweden with its eroded rocky slabs and its forest cut by lakes. Installation of a bivouac to prolong the immersion in this grandiose nature.
Elk observation safari
The day will be spent inland to reach an area where the elk, a massive animal and symbolic of the country, are found. At the end of the afternoon, you can go on an elk or beaver observation safari. Night in a rustic eco-lodge.
River trip on a log raft
After a breakfast by the campfire, we wake up in the floating sauna of the accommodation. Then, direction the Klarälven river. It is the longest river of the country. Construction and assembly of wooden logs to build the raft which will allow to descend this quiet river on 10 km in the most original way which is... Bivouac under tent at the edge of water.

Steps: Uppsala
End of the rafting trip and crossing of Värmland to Uppsala. This magnificent region offers superb forest landscapes dotted with nearly 10,000 lakes. In the afternoon, we arrive in Uppsala, a charming little Swedish town with a medieval center.
