How to get there - Pointe-Noire
Arrival at Pointe-à-Pitre, direction Basse-Terre
Steps: Bouillante
You have arrived in Guadeloupe. After having picked up your rental car, you head west to drop your luggage in a hotel located between Bouillante and Pointe Noire, at the extreme west of the territory. The jet lag and the trip will undoubtedly be the reason for any desire to dive, at least for this first day. Rest and take the time to acclimatize yourself!
Réserve Cousteau - Pigeon Islands and the Franjack wreck
Steps: Bouillante
In the heart of the triangle formed between Bouillante, Pointe Noire and the famous Îlets Pigeons, you will certainly find the most beautiful diving area of Guadeloupe: the Cousteau Reserve! The fifteen or so spots that can be found here are crowded every day by the ten or so clubs that have been set up in the area. Start the day at the Îlets Pigeon, discovering the "Piscine" and the "Jardin de Corail", before heading off in the afternoon to a depth of 20 meters to discover the wreck of the Franjack.

Réserve Cousteau - The Gustavia wreck and the coast
Steps: Bouillante
For this second day in the Cousteau Reserve, you can devote the morning to perfecting your knowledge of the Îlets Pigeon with a dive in the "Aquarium" and then around the "Anticyclonic Buoy", or, if your level allows it, you can leave at a depth of 40 meters to explore the carcass of the Gustavia. In the afternoon: the north of the coast, with the Pointe Mahault, the Pointe Malendure, the "Japanese Garden" or "Le Mambo".

Windward coast
Steps: Bouillante
Head south of the village of Bouillante for some diving sessions far from the underwater crowd of the Cousteau Reserve. Some spots are quite remarkable, such as Les Tortues, the wreck of theAugustin Fresnel located at a depth of 30 meters, or the one called Champagne, where you can observe the amazing bullar activity of the volcano!
The Saints
Early wake up to take the road to the Saintes Islands, north of Basse-Terre. In addition to being a small terrestrial paradise, the archipelago is an authentic underwater Eden! The most sensational dive of this trip will take place around Sec Pâté: a 300 m high submerged mountain, whose three peaks come close to the surface. The depth and the strong currents require a certain mastery of diving, but if you have access to it, there is little risk of being disappointed: turtles, schools of barracudas and black trevallies evolve not far from splendid coral gardens. Night on site.
Les Saintes - day 2
For this second day in Les Saintes, you will be spoilt for choice as there are so many spots. After a new dive at Sec Pâté (you will certainly ask for more!), go and make bubbles in the company of green morays, but also of all the marine fauna in migration, among which impressive schools of tuna, at the Pointe du Cabri or on the side of Pain de Sucre. Return to mainland Guadeloupe at the end of the day
