How to get there - Cap Vert - Mtsvane Konskhi

Arrival on the Black Sea coast

Steps: Kobouleti

Adjaria combines a magnificent coastline with charming pebble beaches and clear, unpolluted blue water in summer, with impressive subtropical hills and lush vegetation. You can base yourself in nearby Batoumi, or in Kobouléti, a seaside resort, to enjoy the beaches and discover the strange vegetation of the region. Go to Sarpi beach, on the Turkish border, the cleanest and most beautiful in Georgia; visit the Cape Verde Botanical Gardens, through palm trees, sycamores and other subtropical trees.

Places of interest : JARDINS BOTANIQUES DU CAP VERT

The Georgian Riviera

Steps: Makhindjaouri

In Makhindjaouri, hike through hills of orange trees, tea plantations and palm trees. In Kobouleti, enjoy the summer atmosphere. And don't miss the banana atmosphere of Batoumi, where, in July and August, the whole of Georgia comes together.

Colchis Nature Reserve

Steps: Parc National De Colchide

You can then head north to Mingrelia, to visit the Colchis Nature Reserve on Lake Paletostomi. You can explore this curious relic of the ecosystem of ancient Colchis by boat.

En route to the Lesser Caucasus

Steps: Bordjomi

The Bordjomi Gorge in the Lesser Caucasus has been a popular vacation destination since the 1920s. The town of Bordjomi is an ancient spa town, which still produces the famous mineral water. Here, you can visit the thermal park and sample the waters.

Places of interest : PARC THERMAL

Day 5

Bordjomi Nature Park

Departure for the Bordjomi Nature Park, one of the largest in Europe, fascinating because it is the meeting point of three climates: subtropical, mountain and continental. The park is equipped with self-catering cottages.

Day 6

Second day of hiking

We continue our hike in the alpine forests, either on foot or by renting horses.

Day 7

Arrival in the Khévie-Mtioulétie region

Perchée sur un promontoire face au mont Kazbek (qui culmine à plus de 5 000 m), l'église de Guerguéti, à Stéptsminda-Khazbégui, est l'un des symboles de la Géorgie.

Direction the Grand Caucasus in Khévie-Mtioulétie. This region is the most accessible of these wild mountains and the most advisable to make the high mountain.

Departure in hiking or mountaineering

Steps: Stépantsminda Khazbégui

Based on Stepantsminda (Khazbégui), at the foot of the Kazbek Mountain (5 047 m, the second summit of the country), you can organise hiking and mountaineering. A shelter is 3 000 m on the slopes of the mount.

Day 9

We keep going up

For this last day of trekking, enjoy the sumptuous landscapes.

Day 10

Direction Touchétie

The wildest region of the Georgian GreatCaucasus is difficult to access, but you'll undoubtedly experience the greatest sensations of Caucasian nature. You'll be taken there by Jeep and accommodated in one of the region's villages, which are virtually empty of inhabitants.

Day 11

Wilderness trekking

In this region, the mountains are king, and you can hike or horseback ride in this space of shepherds and rocks, enjoying the heights, the silence and the splendor.

Day 12

Second day in the mountains

In these mountains, you'll feel isolated from the world.

Day 13

Excursion to Svanetia

Head for Georgia's longest mountain valley, isolated from the rest of the world, but a hotbed of culture. Known for its watchtowers, it's also home to Georgia's highest peak, Mount Chkara (5,068 m). As much for the mountains as for the ethnography, this is a splendid place.
