How to get there - Novi Sad
Belgrade
Morning visit of the city centre: National Museum, Knez Mihajlova (main pedestrian avenue) and Skadarlija, Kalemegdan - medieval fortress overlooking the Sava and Danube rivers -, St. Sava church, the largest Orthodox church in the Balkans built in the 1990s.
Afternoon visit of the surroundings: Zemun and the Danube quays and Avala (mountain near Belgrade). Evening in Skadarlija, where the pedestrian street Skadarska abounds in restaurants and gypsy and Belgrade musicians.
Novi Sad
Steps: Novi Sad
Visit of Novi Sad in the morning: Petrovaradin fortress, museum of Vojvodina for its folk costumes and crafts, the old Austro-Hungarian town.
Visit of the surroundings in the afternoon: monastery of Fruska Gora, baroque town of Sremski Karlovci, cruise on the Danube.
