How to get there
Tokyo Tokyo
Arrival. Quiet day to walk around the Imperial Palace. A small part of the palace is open to the public, the visit does not take much time: It is ideal for a first day. On the way back, go by Shinbashi and dine in one of the many Izakaya, these popular breweries where the employees are found in the evening to eat and drink after work.
Tokyo Tokyo
Visit of Asakusa and covered arcades full of small shops. Small boat ride on the Sumida River. Return by Ginza, his theaters and bars.
Outing to Mount Takeo
Steps: Tokyo
One hour and 20 minutes by train from Tokyo, the mountain is home to several Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. A green step in the middle of the urban jungle. Back to Tokyo, dinner, karaoke and night club in Shinjuku.
Kyoto
Nara
Early morning departure from Kyoto for Nara. Afternoon visit to the old town and Todai-Ji. Dinner in one of the downtown restaurants.
Nara
Visit the Nara National Museum, followed by a stroll and meditation at Kofuku-Ji temple (after a cup of hot coffee and a typically Japanese snack). Return to Kyoto by 5 p.m. train.
Tokyo

Morning visit to Kiyomizu-dera temple, stroll through Kyoto's typical shopping streets. Visit Fushimi-inari and its countless torii (Shinto portals). Return to Tokyo in the evening.
