Detail of the stay : Gourmet Stay - 3 days

Day 1

In the morning, guided tour of the backstage of the artisanal cookie factory of Sainte-Mère-Église within the framework of the visits of Thursday (in July and August only). Visit the production workshop and the store to discover all the ranges of cookies and cakes (cookies, shortbread, meringues, chocolates...) .Possibility to have lunch at the Pause Gourmande, the restaurant of the cookie factory.


In the afternoon, visit of the Maison Hérout in Auvers as part of the Thursday visits (from June to Septemberonly). Discover the cider factory, the organic cider products sold in the store andfree tastings.

Day 2

In the morning, stroll alongUtah Beach and stop at the store Les viviers d'Utah Beach in the oyster farming area to buy mussels and oysters. Retail sale and preparation ofseafood platters (lobsters, crab, spiders, shellfish).


In the afternoon, stop at the artisanal cookie factory of Quinéville , north of Utah Beach, to discover dry and soft cookies, family pies and homemade chocolates. A tea room with a terrace is available.

Day 3

In the morning, guided tour of the Bouilles de Cauquigny farm in Amfreville. Milk producers, in the heart of the Cotentin and Bessin marshes, Christelle and Valéry offer quality products respecting nature and resulting from the transformation of their cows' milk: dessert cream, farm cream, cottage cheese, raw milk, farm yogurt, tomme and camembert.


At the end of the afternoon, stop at the bar of the brewery in Sainte-Mère-Église to taste a local beeraccompanied by an aperitif board in a beautifully decorated place.


The little plus : possibility to find local products on sale at the vending machine located inBlosville.
