An extension of the Appalachians into the waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, this rocky city has Île Bonaventure as a fortress, and the majestic Percé Rock, the tourism emblem of Québec, as a stone vessel.
On the island, the fragrance and colour of the wildflowers and the fresh sea breezes will intoxicate you.

The road trip continues to the incredible Forillon National Park, where mountain cliffs thrust brutally into the Atlantic Ocean.
Its magnificent seascapes, cliffs and mountains occupy 244 km². The presence of ten different rock formations, seabird colonies, a surprising underwater world and its broad diversity in wildlife and plant life combine to make this park unique.
We recommend a picnic lunch in Cap Bon-Ami, definitely the best place from which to admire the Forillon cliffs.
Don't miss the Grande-Grave interpretive trail which highlights the way of life of the fishermen and their families at the time of colonization.

After breakfast, the adventure continues in the direction of Gaspesie National Park.
The section of Route 132 between Forillon Park and Gaspesie Park is, without a doubt, one of the most spectacular drives in Quebec, if not in Canada.
This park is a veritable sea of mountains located in the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula. Its varied climates and unusual geomorphology attract a diversity of plant and animal species that are unique to Quebec.

For families or the less athletically inclined, the Lac aux Américains trail will lead you to breathtaking picture-postcard views in less than 30 minutes.
