You'll start your day by visiting the ruins of Tulum, a Mayan archaeological site located on the Caribbean coast. Next, you'll visit the archaeological site of Cobá, once one of the largest Mayan cities in the region. Although climbing the Nohoch Mul pyramid is no longer permitted, you can wander through the surrounding forest and discover the site's other impressive structures.
Afterwards, you'll visit a traditional Mayan village to discover the daily life and traditions of this community. You can take part in handicraft workshops, watch traditional dances and sample local dishes.
For lunch, you'll enjoy an atypical meal of authentic Mayan specialties, such as cochinita pibil, a pork dish slow-cooked in a pit with spices, accompanied by handmade tortillas.
