Welcome by our representative at Cairo airport.

Transfer to hotel.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Memphis-Saqqarah-Dahshur

Steps: Memphis

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by private air-conditioned car to visit Saqqara: the largest necropolis in ancient Egypt. Famous for the step pyramid of the first king of the 3rd Dynasty, Djeser. Built by Imhotep.


Memphis: The oldest capital of unified Egypt.

Built by King Menes in 3300 BC


Dahshur: The Rhomboid Pyramid and the Red Pyramid.


Two pyramids built by King Snefru, founder of the 4th Dynasty and father of Khufu.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit :


The pyramids of Giza: Khéops, Khéphren and Mykérinos, as well as the Sphinx, witnesses to ancient Egyptian civilization.

The visit inside the pyramids is left to your own initiative, and is therefore not included in the package.


The Egyptian Museum: Two floors, a hundred rooms, 160,000 exhibits. One of the main rooms is devoted to Tutankhamun's treasure.

You can't leave Cairo without taking a stroll through one of the most famous souks, the Khân al-Khalili. Here you can shop for clothes, spices and souvenirs.

Overnight at your hotel.

Luxor

Steps: Louxor

breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport, flight to Luxor.

Arrival in Luxor. Check-in at hotel.

As the sun sets, visit Luxor Temple on the edge of the Nile ledge, built by the prestigious kings of the new Empire.

Admire the obelisk of Ramses II, its twin sister at the Place de la Concorde in Paris... !

Optional: Sound and Light show at Karnak.

The Theban Necropolis - Boarding

Steps: Louxor

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit the Theban Necropolis including:

Valley of the Kings, Deir El Bahari (Hatshepsut) and the Colossi of Memnon.

After the visit, transfer to your 5* cruise ship.

Lunch on board.

Musical evening in the lounge-bar.

Dinner and overnight on board.

Option: A hot-air balloon flight.

Louxor – Navigation

Steps: Louxor

Visit the imposing Temple of Karnak, renowned for the immensity of its hypostyle hall (134 columns lined up in 16 rows).

Karnak is without doubt the most grandiose site in all of Pharaonic Egypt.

Return on board. Departure for Esna.

Lunch on board. Passage through the Esna lock.

Edfou - Kom Ombo

Steps: Edfou

After breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu, the largest sanctuary built in the Ptolemaic period, dedicated to the falcon god Horus.

It is in an exceptional state of preservation.

After the visit, sail to Kom Ombo.

In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the deities:

Sobek (crocodile-headed) and Haroeris (falcon-headed).

Disguised evening at the salon-bar. Dinner, Egyptian cuisine.

Sailing and overnight in Aswan.

Aswan

Steps: Assouan

After breakfast, visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

Threatened with being submerged during the construction of the high dam.

The temple was moved block by block under the aegis of Unesco.

Stop and visit the granite quarries and the unfinished obelisk or the Aswan Dam.

Lunch on board. Afternoon at leisure.

Dinner and Nubian evening at the lounge-bar.

Stroll through the bustling Aswan souk, which runs parallel to the Nile corniche. Renowned for its colors, noises and, above all, the scent of spices.

Steps: Assouan

Breakfast on board and disembarkation.

Morning at leisure, here's a suggestion of things to do:

Abu Simbel: by private vehicle, early departure for the road to Abu Simbel. The journey takes about 3 hours.

Four impressive royal colossi frame the prestigious facades of the large temple built in honour of Ramses II and the small temple built in honour of Queen Nefertari, his favourite wife.

The imposing stature of this edifice and the beauty of its sculptures are sure to move you.

Return late morning. Check-in at your hotel in Aswan.
