Steps: Serengeti National Park
You'll enjoy an early morning game drive in the Ndutu area for a last chance to spend some time with the wildebeest. After a delicious lunch, you'll head back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Our afternoon safari takes us back through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Massif, offering many opportunities to spot animals. You'll spot large, graceful giraffes, leaping antelopes and gazelles, the mighty African elephant and the most respected group of animals: the predators.
You'll be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of skinny cheetahs and shy leopards, hyenas on the prowl for food and, last but not least, the royal lion.
From the Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Steps: Ngorongoro Crater
On the last day of your safari, we'll get an early start. After a quick breakfast, we'll descend to the crater floor at around 6.30 am. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, untouched and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of around 260 km² and a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5/6-hour safari on the crater floor will allow us to observe numerous animals.
We recommend keeping your camera close at hand. African elephant, buffalo, black rhinoceros, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs and lions are present in large numbers. After a picnic lunch at the magnificent hippo pool, we begin the steep ascent to the crater exit.
you will then be driven to Arusha, where you can relax, dine and spend the night in a hotel.
