Day 1

elephant paradise - Tarangire

Giant Elephants

You will depart from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you will be able to enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive with a delicious lunch in the afternoon. In the early evening, after your game drive, you will exit the park and make your way to your campsite for dinner & overnight.

Tarangire National Park – main attractions:

- Land of giants – herds of elephants & massive baobab trees

- Over 550 different bird species – migratory & permanent

- Abundant biodiversity

-The Tarangire River.

The wildebeest house - Serengeti

Steps: Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous national park in the World, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time.

As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in local language, "endless plains". The park has a 6,900sq miles (18,000sq km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances

It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes. As for big cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings having been filmed in this park. You will enjoy your game drive until lunch time in a suitable place arrange by a professional Guide.

The endless plain - Serengeti

Steps: Serengeti National Park

Today you will venture deeper into Ndutu where you will see the great wildebeest migration. December to March is the calving season when the wildebeest and zebra give birth to their offspring and it is highly likely you will see a live birth. This is also an excellent time to see predator action as lion and leopards prey on the young and vulnerable calves. Lunch will be at the picnic sites

After the game drive you will exit the park heading to Ngorongoro for relaxation, diner and overnight stay.

Steps: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. It is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater before heading back to Arusha.

Day 5

Hiking Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, your adventure to the "roof of Africa" will begin. After the drive of a maximum of 3 hours, you will reach the Marangu Gate. Your hike will begin soon after completing the necessary registrations at the gate.

After about 3 hours of hiking, you will have your packed lunch at Kisambioni before heading back to the Lodge, passing through the dense rainforest..

Dinner and overnight will be at Secret Garden Kilimanjaro.

After an early breakfast, you will depart from the hotel and proceed to Materuni Waterfalls. It is a 2 hours’ drive to Materuni village, located at the bottom of Mt Kilimanjaro. You will enjoy your picnic lunch and hike for 30 minutes to Materuni Waterfalls, which are about 80 m high, to swim as well as explore nature.

In the village, you will learn about their traditions and customs, as well as how the local people, who are Chagga, grow and process the coffee for substance use. You will visit a coffee farm, pick coffee and make your own strong coffee locally.

Later, you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel in Kilimanjaro.
