Welcome to one of the largest French-speaking cities in the world.

Multicultural, the metropolis blends its French accent with that of more than 80 other cultural communities and charms with its American-European ambiance.

Its downtown area teems with life at the foot of its mountain, while its history is rooted in its old neighborhoods near the river.

You will certainly fall under the spell of this dynamic city!

We wish you a wonderful trip to the land of forests, lakes and rivers!

Day 2

Montreal / Mauricie (189 km)

Immersion in the heart of our great outdoors

Spend the morning pursuing your discovery of Montreal before picking-up your RV.

Then, you can pick up your motorhome and let the adventure begin! Your first destination is the legendary La Mauricie National Park.

Covering an area of 536 km², this national park gives off an air of serenity in keeping with its gently undulating terrain. On this wide plateau with its hills and valleys and network of lakes and rivers, only the changing seasons mark the passage of time.

Day 3

Mauricie

Mauricie Park

You have a whole day to spend in the lovely La Mauricie National Park.

Explore some of the park's hiking trails or take a canoe trip to Waber Falls. Don't miss the chance to enjoy a swim under one of the park's many waterfalls!

We suggest that you bring along a picnic lunch, so that you can make the most of every moment of this glorious day in the great outdoors.

Day 4

Mauricie / Lac St-Jean (273 km)

Time for a break

This morning you set out for Lac St-Jean, a veritable inland sea.

You will be following a magnificent route along the historic St-Maurice River, used in the olden days by raftsmen for transporting wood.

Lac St-Jean is known for its warm hospitality. This is the ideal place to get to know the Quebec people with their customs and traditions.

Day 5

Lac St-Jean

Saint-Félicien Zoo

Today you will pay a visit to an unusual zoo, where the animals roam free and the humans are in cages.

The St-Felicien Wild Zoo offers the chance to discover the local wildlife in a magnificent natural setting.

Don't forget your camera!

Day 6

Lac St-Jean / Saguenay Fjord (159 km)

Sunset at the Saguenay Fjord

This morning you set a course for the spectacular Saguenay Fjord.

This majestic but little-known natural wonder will take your breath away and leave you with unforgettable memories.

You will discover the vastness of time and space in this place where the colossal forces of nature conspired to create a fjord.

On the way to your campground, be sure to stop at Village de la Nouvelle-France to relive the story of colonization.

Day 7

Saguenay Fjord

Saguenay Fjord

Make the most of this day surrounded by the dramatic beauty of the Saguenay Fjord, unique in the world.

Hiking enthusiasts won't want to miss the chance to walk the Sentier de la Statue trail in the Baie-Éternité sector of Saguenay Fjord National Park. The view of the fjord from the statue is spectacular.

The region is also home to two of Quebec's most picturesque villages, l'Anse-St-Jean and Ste-Rose-du-Nord.

Day 8

Saguenay Fjord / Tadoussac (158 km)

Tadoussac Bay

Today you take one of the most scenic routes in Quebec to reach the region of Tadoussac.

Take the time to sample some typical local cuisine at Le Bateau restaurant, conveniently located in the heart of this historic village.

The section of Route 138 between Baie St-Paul and the park is among the top 5 of the most panoramic routes in Quebec.

Jacques-Cartier National Park offers magnificent landscapes characterized by stunning contrasts: mountainous plateaus fractured by steep-sided valleys.

The spectacular scenery of the Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier river valley includes a channel more than 550 metres deep through which the sparkling Jacques Cartier River winds its way.

Day 11

Be sure to make a detour to visit the Chutes de Montmorency waterfall and Île d'Orléans.

Île d'Orléans is a 32 km x 8 km island in the middle of the St. Lawrence River, connected to the mainland by a toll-free bridge. This enchanting isle is sure to charm you with its 18th century stone houses, local specialties (strawberries, apples, cider, chocolate and much more) and gorgeous rural landscapes.

Your campground is conveniently located close to downtown Quebec.

Day 13

Quebec

Quebec

You have the entire day to enjoy Quebec's historic capital.

Perched on the cliffs of Cap Diamant and overlooking the St. Laurence River, Quebec is proud to be a living museum and the only fortified city in North America.

The best way to explore the city and its many historic sites is on foot. The entire old town is a UNESCO world heritage site.

You have the morning off in Quebec City. You can use this time to do some last-minute shopping or to explore some of the 1001 attractions of the Old Capital.

In the evening we recommend a tour of the Grande-Baie trail, which leads through four different ecosystems: a field, a caryer maple grove, a silver maple grove and a marsh.

Day 15

View of Montreal

Up at dawn, an early breakfast and then you return to Montreal to drop off your motorhome and its equipment.
