Visit to a local geothermal pool & Reykjavik city tour
Iceland is famous for its local pools, natural baths and natural hot springs.
Access to hot water is so easy that we've been using it to our advantage since the Vikings arrived.
Today, a high percentage of Icelanders of all ages, in every town, visit the pool regularly.
In the jacuzzi, you can find yourself chatting to the town mayor about everything from local politics to the most mundane topics. So it's fair to say that local public pools are an essential part of the typical small-town Icelandic community.
Most pools are equipped with hot tubs, cold tubs, saunas, a children's play area, waterslides and more. And of course, swimming areas.
