From Kathmandu to Trishuli via Shivapuri National Park

Today is the biggest day of your adventure, because you're in for a unique experience. Your ride begins in the main city of Kathmandu. You'll ride your mountain bike through Kathmandu's bustling streets and make an intense climb to Shivapuri National Park. When you reach the summit of Shivapuri National Park, you'll soak up the beauty of the Himalayan Everest range and prepare for an incredible descent to the Sunkhani River valley. You'll pass through beautiful villages along the river while enjoying the incredible scenery and culture of the local people. If you feel like climbing further, we'll take you to Nuwakot Durbar, which is well worth a visit. We end our day in a basic but comfortable guest house in Trishuli.

Bike from Trishuli to Dhading Besi

Today's mountain bike adventure offers a unique blend of culture, nature, physical challenge and reward - incredible scenery and charming villages with friendly locals.

Vélo de Dhading Beshi à Aarughat

Today's mountain bike ride from Dhading Besi to Aarughat is a real challenge. At the start of our cycling adventure through the beautiful town of Dhading, we'll have to tackle the intense ascent of Gola Bhanjyang. However, the climb will be rewarding as we'll have the opportunity to observe stunning scenery, authentic mountain villages and incredible local people. When we reach the summit of Gola Bhanjyang, we'll take time to enjoy our snacks with a sip of local organic tea. After a good rest, get ready for a thrilling descent to Tari Besi. The road from Gola Bhanjyang to Tari Besi is narrow and paved, but we have to be very careful at every turn, as there may be unexpected traffic. Crossing the bridge over the Aankhu Khola (Khola means river), we prepare to tackle the last part of the gentle ascent to Salyantar and the descent to Aarughat, the starting point of the Manaslu trek. We spend the night in a comfortable guesthouse in Aarughat.

Cycling from Aarughat to Gorkha

After a local breakfast in Aarughat, we'll begin our mountain bike adventure from Arughat to Gorkha Bazaar, the historic site from which the unification of Nepal began. The mountain bike trail to Gorkha passes through remote villages where you'll discover an amazing culture and breathtaking views. You'll have the chance to chat with the locals as you cycle through their villages, communicating through signs and body language. Meeting isolated communities on this off-the-beaten-track adventure is sure to be an unforgettable experience, and you'll get a glimpse of a different side of Nepal that you won't find anywhere else! The mountain bike route from Aarughat to Gorkha is a complete mix of trails and tarmac roads. If we reach Gorkha Bazaar early, we'll take time to visit the historic Gorkha Palace. We end the day in a comfortable hotel in Gorkha Bazaar.

Bike from Gorkha to Sundar Bazaar

Get ready for an exciting ride from Gorkha to Sundar Bazaar! The first part of our mountain bike tour starts with a descent through the main Aanbu Khaireni-Gorkha road to Bahra Kilo (12 km). When we reach 12 km, get ready to tackle the challenging Palungtar-Mirkot off-road trail. You'll cross the iconic Marshyangdi River to join the main road to Sundar bazaar and Lamjung while observing incredibly beautiful scenery and mountain views. Today's mountain bike ride is all about exploring amazing villages and the peaceful beauty of Nepal, revealing some of its hidden treasures. Our mountain bike adventure for the day will be challenging but rewarding. We'll spend the night in a base hotel in Sundar Bazaar, where we'll have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture and way of life.

Cycling from Sundar Bazaar to Begnas Lake

Mount your bike after a local breakfast at the hotel in Sundar Bazaar and take in the beauty of rural Nepal as we start pedaling a stunning route from Sundar Bazaar to Lake Begnas via Sindure and Bhorletar. Our mountain bike tour begins with a gradual 11 km climb and a 4 km inside climb to Sindure Bhanjyang before descending 8 km to Bhorletar, known for its incredible scenery and mountain views, where we'll enjoy our traditional Nepalese lunch. After lunch, our mountain bike ride begins with a short descent to Middim Khola and the crossing of the bridge over the Madi River. Crossing the Madi River, our real test for the day begins, as we face another intense 9 km climb to Sagrabas Bhanjyang. However, the recent construction of a tarmac road makes this climb much easier. Once we've reached the summit of Sagrabas Bhanjyang, prepare for a hair-raising descent to Tal Besi and a short excursion around Lake Rupa and Sita Cave, before finishing the tour at Lake Begnas, popular for its serene surroundings. We spend the night in a comfortable hotel at Begnas Lake.

Today is the last day of your incredible adventure in Nepal. As you start your last day of mountain biking, you'll enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Pokhara Valley, while passing through picturesque river valleys, with breathtaking views of the Annapurna Range, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, and Lake Fewa. We'll stop at the village of Kristi to observe farm animals, wildlife and birds. Today we'll be driving mainly on a wider track with inland streets that will take us through rainforests, fertile rice paddies and traditional villages, giving us the opportunity to observe local customs and culture. After a 4-5 hour drive, relax in the comfort of a luxury Lakeside hotel, or stroll through the bustling town of Pokhara and enjoy a bottle of beer on the shores of Lake Fewa and a magnificent sunset.
