Transfer + city tour of Hargeisa
Welcome and transfer to hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you will explore Hargeisa. After resting, you'll be free to wander around downtown Hargeisa to get a feel for the people and the city.
Hargeisa - Laas Geel - Berbera
In the early morning, you'll explore Hargeisa, visiting the Civil War Memorial and the central market. You will then visit Laas Geel, the most important rock art site in Africa. The vivid colors and well-preserved rock art are estimated to be around ten thousand years old. Continue to Berbera, where you will be taken to your hotel. You can relax on the beach and swim at sunset (BLD).
Berbera - Sheikh - Hargeisa
After breakfast, you'll visit the historic town of Berbera. The old part of town, with its many Ottoman and British buildings, is of particular historical interest. We leave Berbera behind and head for the small mountain town of Sheikh. Crossing the Sheikh mountains is a pleasant experience, with picturesque views and pleasant temperatures. At the end of the day, we head for Hargeisa (BLD).
