Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe international airport

Airbus by Uganda Airlines

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to your booked hotel for overnight stay.

Incase of early arrival, you will take on optional activities within Entebbe town from exploring the largest freshwater lake in Africa, Lake Victoria, Fishing sites, Entebbe Zoo among others.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park En route Ziwa Rhino Wildlife Ranch

Early morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to Murchison falls national park. Enroute stop in Nakasongola at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. Have lunch enroute before proceeding to Murchison falls national park stop in Masindi for dinner and overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo Forest Reserve

Steps: Murchison Falls National Park

Departure for Kaniyo pabidi, in the Budongo forest, at 8 a.m. for the park's most popular activity: chimpanzee tracking. The chimpanzee is man's closest cousin, although it is one of the most endangered primate species. Other primates such as black and white colobus monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, bush babies, pottos, and numerous bird species such as yellow-spotted nicator, rumped tinker bird, little greenbul, green-breasted pitta, crowned eagle, black bee-eater, and mammals such as elephants can be observed during this walk. After tracking the chimpanzees, return to your vehicle and continue to the top of the waterfalls. After this adventurous experience, continue by car to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Wake up very early and go for a game drive on the Northern bank of the river and expect to see lots of animals as well as birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, go for the boat trip and expect to see animals like hippos, elephants and waterbucks among others. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Either a day's walk in the foothills of the Rwenzori, one of the world's largest mountain ranges, watching its towering peaks in the distance, or a direct drive to Queen Elizabeth. The animals seen will depend on the season; the Kasenyi plains are home to lions and the Mweya Peninsula to a wide variety of animals. Departure for Queen Elizabeth National Park this morning (approx. 7-hour drive).

We leave early in the morning for a safari in the northern part of the park, on the Kasenyi track, in search of lions, elephants and solitary buffalo. This is the best time to see the cats in action, thanks to the vast population of Ugandan kobs. We have an excellent chance to observe almost all the animals at close quarters. In the afternoon, we take a boat trip along the Kazinga Canal.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After a tasty breakfast, you'll retire to Ishasha. Mid-morning will be devoted to a safari in search of tree-climbing lions, elephants and other large mammals, then on to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes around 2-3 hours, but the road passes through some interesting places. We arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening. This park is home to rare mountain gorillas and 11 other primate species, including blue and red-tailed monkeys.

After breakfast, you'll attend the morning briefing before the highlight of a 10-day safari in Uganda begins: the gorilla trek, which can last all day. When spotted, visitors are guided to within 8 meters of the gorillas and sit around them for an hour while gazing into their big round eyes. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable. It's difficult to predict how many hours you'll be walking. Excursions can last from 2 to 8 hours. Bwindi is a top destination for birdwatchers. Among its 350 species, seven are on the IUCN Red List and 90% are endemic to the Albertine Rift, i.e. species that are difficult, if not impossible, to observe in any other part of East Africa.

After an early breakfast, you leave the hotel and take the road to Kabale, passing through the hills, terraces and bends of Kanaaba. Arrive at the hotel, relax and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi, enjoying the fresh lake breeze and birdsong.Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 10

Transfer to Entebbe airport

Have early morning breakfast, and drive through Mbarara, now one of Uganda’s major towns, but formerly the capital of Ankole kingdom for over 400 years until disbanded by independence in 1962. In the days before modern Uganda came into being, the area had a series of fiercely independent tribal states. From here you continue with a stop-over at the Uganda Equator for Pictures and experience. We will be in Entebbe in the evening before your flight back home.
