Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe international airport

You will be met by your driver/guide at the airport. Depending on your arrival time, if you're arriving at night, we'll check into the Ikon Boutique Hotel Entebbe to refresh and relax after the long flight.

Day 2: Buganda cultural experience and city tour

Today, after an early breakfast, you'll be taken to the Palace of the King of Buganda for a cultural experience. You'll take part in a culinary experience, preparing a traditional local cuisine known as luwombo, and learn how it's harvested, prepared and cooked. Next, you'll visit the kingdom's parliament, known as Bulange, to learn more about royal life and the kingdom's history, before heading to Africa's largest man-made lake, King's Lake.

Later, you'll head to the Uganda National Mosque, the Uganda Museum and the Ndere Cultural Center in the evening for traditional dance performances and a local dinner.

Day 3: Transfer and rhino hike - Murchison Falls National Park

Steps: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, you head for Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest park, covering 3840 square kilometers. Drive through the Luwero Triangle, famous for the Ugandan civil war of 1980, with lunch en route and rhino tracking at Ziwa Sanctuary, Nakasongola for a short walk to see southern white rhinos, then on to Murchison Falls Park. On arrival, check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning safari and boat cruise - Murchison Falls National Park

Steps: Murchison Falls National Park

Today you'll enjoy a morning coffee and breakfast, before setting off on a morning safari into the savannah to spot big cats, elephants, giraffe, buffalo and many more, with a mammal list of 144. We continue along the circuits to Delta Point for a cocktail of birds and mammals. If you're a keen birder, this could be your chance to catch them. In the afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., we take a 3-hour boat safari to the base of the falls, where we can see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants and a variety of magnificent bird species along the falls. Day 5: Visit to the community of Mubaku - Murchison Falls National Park

Steps: Murchison Falls National Park

After a free breakfast, you'll head to the community of Mubaku for a half-day visit during which you'll take part in culinary activities, a community walk, basket-making and craft-making, among others.

You'll spend the whole day immersing yourself in the community's way of life with the women and children, and visiting the community's school and medical center.

In the late afternoon, you'll return to your lodge for relaxation or an evening game drive before dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfert et Top of the Falls - Hoima

Steps: Hoima

Today, you'll have breakfast at your leisure, then leave the hotel for Hoima (Kingdom of Bunyoro). En route, you'll visit the summit of Murchison Falls before returning to your lodge in Hoima for lunch and spending the rest of the day relaxing by the pool.

Day 7: Exploring the kingdom of Bunyoro

Steps: Hoima

After breakfast, you'll spend the rest of the morning following the traditional processes involved in preparing local African cuisine, then enjoy your meal like a true African.to visit the king's palace and royal tombs at Mparo. This was the final resting place of King Kabalega II, exiled from the Seychelles by the British Empire. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer - Kibale National Park

Steps: Kibale Forest National Park

After an early breakfast, you leave the lodge for a brief visit to the local market. You then continue through the towns of Mabale and Kagadi, with superb views of the local community, thatched houses, schoolchildren and finally the town of Fort Portal, one of the old colonialist towns, offering stunning views of tea plantations, the Rwenzori mountains and many other Rift Valley panoramas.

Day 9: Chimpanzee tracking and walk in the community of Bigodi

Steps: Kibale Forest National Park

Early breakfast, continuation to Kibale park headquarters for a morning briefing and start of the chimpanzee tracking experience that will bring you closer to our relatives who survive in the jungle. Kibale forest is dense and considered the primate capital of East Africa due to its large number of primates and wildlife. Expect lots of monkeys, birds and many species of trees that will make you feel like you're in the jungle. In the afternoon, we'll go for a local lunch that will unite your spirit with African organic food. This lunch is prepared by a family living around the forest, as part of a community initiative to collaborate with the community in conservation

Day 10: Transfer to Kiwa thermal baths - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Steps: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with superb views of Mount Rwenzori. Drive through the town of Kasese to the Kiwa hot springs, where you'll experience natural healing in the underground hot water pool and play some traditional musical instruments while listening to stories told by local guides. Return to Kasese for lunch. Get ready for an evening boat trip on the Kazinga Canal, where you can observe numerous species of birds, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, leopards and many other interesting wild animals

Day 11: Day 11: Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Steps: Queen Elizabeth National Park

You'll have an early breakfast and set off on an early morning game drive in the park, where you can expect to spot a variety of wildlife including Ugandan kobs, lions, elephants, buffalo and warthogs, giant forest hogs and many species of birds. We know you love nature, so we'll take a scenic drive across the volcanic plains to the salt lakes of the Katwe explosion, where we'll learn about local salt mining. We then head south to Queen Elizabeth, famous for its tree-climbing lions

Day 12: Ishasha - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park

Steps: Forêt Impénétrable De Bwindi

After an early breakfast, you'll check out of the hotel and head off on a short safari to the Ishasha plains, with chances of seeing climbing lions, then on to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Lunch en route in Kihihi and continue to the home of the massive, gentle mountain gorillas.

Day 13: Gorilla excursion and transfer - Lake Bunyonyi

Steps: Lac Bunyonyi, Forêt Impénétrable De Bwindi

Today we'll be heading into the forest for a unique gorilla trekking experience. The trek goes through thick forest, where you always have to find your way around until you come face to face with the gentle giants in their natural habitat. The trek through the forest can be short, medium and sometimes long depending on the gorillas' movements, so it's best to be prepared to take on the jungle.

Day 14: Transfer Lake Mburo National Park

Steps: Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, departure from Lake Bunyonyi and on to Lake Mburo National Park. Cross the hunting trails with great chances of seeing zebra, eland, topi, water pig and many impala. Lunch break and boat trip on Lake Mburo.

Day 15: Walking safari and transfer - Lake Mburo

Steps: Lake Mburo National Park

We wake up for a 2-hour walking safari around Lake Mburo National Park, which will bring us into close contact with the unique wildlife of this magnificent region. Breakfast after the walk and departure for Entebbe via the Ugandan Equator.

Day 16: Airport transfer

Depending on your flight time, you may decide to take an optional visit to the zoo, a walk in the Entebbe Botanical Gardens where you can learn about the unique trees, birdwatch, meditate or relax in the morning while waiting for your flight home
