Curcuit adventure in northwest Argentina

Northwest Argentina is an integral part of the Altiplano region. The high plains stretch between the Cordillera Occidental and the Cordillera Oriental of the Altiplano. Between Bolivia, Chile, Peru and Argentina, altitudes range from 3,300m to peaks of over 6,000m, offering striking and singular landscapes. While Peru's Lake Titicaca, Bolivia's Salar d'Uyuni and Chile's San Pedro de Atacama are renowned, Argentina's Altiplano is less well known. But wrongly so!

The north-west of Argentina is certainly the region that offers the greatest change of scenery. The western part of the region boasts breathtaking Andean landscapes such as salt deserts and the red mountains of the Quebrada de Cafayate, while the eastern part boasts mountain rainforest parks, subtropical vegetation and arid desert.

Come and enjoy unique experiences with your private chauffeur-guide!

Argentine wine tasting and return to Salta

Steps: Cafayate

For this new day, we invite you to set off in the morning to discover the Quebrada de las Conchas: one of the most arid yet spectacular landscapes in north-western Argentina. The river of the same name has played an active role in the creation of the canyon, and the winds have enabled the erosion and formation of these extraordinary natural sculptures

On this walk, let your imagination run wild as you bring these magical mountains to life. Some of these rocks have even been given names for their incredible appearance: you'll see La Ventana (window), El Sapo (toad) and Los Castillos (castles). But above all, the craziest are the Garganta del Diablo and the Anfiteatro. You'll criss-cross these roads at an altitude of 2,000 m, and take in the sights on your last day in the Cafayate region. Return to Salta early afternoon.
