Detail of the stay : Indian Textile Tour - 11 days

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi:

On arrival at Delhi airport, you'll receive a warm welcome from our representative who will help you check into a luxury hotel where you'll stay for the next two nights. Have a good rest to get rid of the jet leg, have dinner, our representative will then explain our wonderful itinerary ahead. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Delhi :

Morning after breakfast, your full-day Delhi city tour, exploring Qutub Minar, Humayun's tomb, Bangla Sahib Temple, Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple, Gateway to India, Tuk Tuk ride to Chandni Chowk, overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra (245 km) :

Today, after breakfast, you'll head for Agra, which will take approx. 4 hours. On arrival in Agra, check into your hotel, then rest and visit a group of private artisans who have been embroidering the fabulous Zardozi technique for generations. Mid-afternoon, put your feet up and relax over dinner. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 4: Sightseeing tours of Agra:

Early morning to admire the Taj Mahal with a beautiful sunrise, the white marble mausoleum. Afterwards, return to your hotel for breakfast and begin our first Indian embroidery session. Yesterday you had the privilege of watching expert Zardozi embroider and today you'll enjoy learning this exquisite technique under the expert guidance of our local Indian artists/tutors. After the tour, return to the hotel, rest, dine and spend the night.

Day 5: Sightseeing tours of Agra:

After breakfast, enjoy a queue-free morning visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise, then visit the Red Fort after lunch at the Mugali restaurant, then explore the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula (known as the Baby Taj). In the evening, explore Agra's local markets and buy wonderful souvenirs for family and friends. Later, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Agra - Jaipur (240 km) :

After breakfast, our representative will drive you to Jaipur. You'll visit Fatehpur Sikri en route to the Pink City. On arrival in Jaipur, check into your hotel and freshen up or relax. In the evening, shop for a wide range of handicrafts. Dinner at one of the city's finest restaurants, where you can sample Rajput Ana cuisine. After dinner, overnight at the hotel.


Day 7: Sightseeing in Jaipur

Today, after breakfast, you'll set off on a full-day excursion to the Pink City, heading for Amber Fort, set in a picturesque landscape, where you can enjoy a jeep ride. In the afternoon, we visit Dera Amer and enjoy the unique experience of painting elephants (optional activity). This Elephant Rehabilitation Center provides health care and husbandry management so that friendly, healthy elephants can live in a safe environment. Spending time with the elephants allows you to make friends with them in a natural environment, where you can play with a new friend using only organic colors. This will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the most wonderful experiences!!!! After the visit, back at the hotel, relax, have dinner, spend the night at the hotel.

Day 8: Needlework session in Jaipur:

After breakfast, our second sewing session begins. You'll meet our local Indian artists/tutors to learn the deliciously delicate white work known as Chikankari. Afterwards, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Jaipur - Delhi (280 km) :

Today in the afternoon, you'll return to Delhi. After a tiring day, check-in at the hotel, dinner, overnight at the hotel

Day 10: Farewell to Delhi:

Today, you'll have a farewell dinner in a charming Indian restaurant and afterwards this Bollywood musical show at "Le Royaume des Rêves" "The Kingdom of Dreams" is the Indian equivalent of a production that can be seen at the Sydney Opera House, Moulin Rouge in Paris, or Broadway in New York. Afterwards, return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Departure from Delhi :

After breakfast, your tour ends today, as you depart from the hotel and are transferred to the international airport to board a flight with the sweet memories of the tour.
