Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Steps: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, departure for Tarangire National Park for a safari and packed lunch. The park is known for having the largest number of elephants, cat families, bird species and baobabs. Because of the Tarangire River, it is also considered a dry refuge for animals. After all the day's excursions, your guide will take you to a Tarangire lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: From Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Steps: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, departure for the Serengeti National Park, via Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We leave the highlands and enter the Serengeti National Park, whose plains stretch as far as the eye can see. We then visit the Seronera area in the central park, one of the park's richest in flora and fauna, with the Seronera River providing a valuable source of water for the area and attracting wildlife that is representative of most of the Serengeti's species. Arrive in the afternoon for lunch and a game drive in the Serengeti National Park. After the day's activities, your guide will take you to a lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full safari in Serengeti National Park

Steps: Serengeti National Park

Another day on the Serengeti plains, with vast herds of wildebeest migrating through the central Serengeti region to the Western Corridor. Cheetahs, lions, leopards, buffalo, camels, hartebeests, topis, elands, crocodiles, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, among others. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded in the park, including ostriches, secretary birds, marabou storks and the world's largest flying bird, the Kori bustard. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool while watching the animals drink, then continue your safari until late evening. At the end of the day's excursions, your guide will take you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: From the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater

Steps: Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, departure for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for game drives along the way. It's possible to stop at one of the Maasai villages for at least a 30-minute experience with the local tribe. A few hours later, you'll arrive in Ngorongoro, check into your hotel, enjoy a hot lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing before the next day's adventure.

Day 5: From Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha/Moshi

Steps: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, early departure for a safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to observe the wildlife. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which enjoys a year-round supply of water and fodder, is home to a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, lion, hippo and giant African elephant. Transfer to Arusha/Moshi for the night, or transfer to the airport in the late afternoon.
