Day 1: Arrival at Kigali international airport

Steps: Kigali

On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you'll be warmly greeted by our company representative. Exchange money for local currency, then drive to your hotel for an overnight stay. Your professional driver-guide will be waiting for you at the airport.

Day 2: Tour of Kigali with transfer to Nyungwe National Park

Steps: Parc National De Nyungwe

After breakfast, you'll start your Kigali city tour with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Later, you'll transfer to Nyungwe National Park, home of the chimpanzees. The journey southwest takes you through the magnificent terraced hills that characterize much of Rwanda's landscape. In the afternoon, enjoy a canopy walkway adventure in Nyungwe National Park. Visit and enjoy the property's amenities.

Day 3: Trekking with chimpanzees in Nyungwe National Park and tea experience, from harvest to cup

Steps: Parc National De Nyungwe

On this day, you'll enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge before embarking on a thrilling trek in search of chimpanzee communities. Rwanda's chimpanzee population is thought to number around 400-500 individuals, confined to Nyungwe National Park, including a small community in the Cyamudongo forest. Be prepared to hear these excitable primates before you see them, as their hooting travels through the deep forest. During your hike, you may also spot migratory birds, including Ross's touraco, gray-cheeked hornbill, red-breasted sparrow, hawk and royal souimanga. Then enjoy tea-planting experiences around the park. After these experiments, transfer to the shores of Lake Kivu.

Day 4: Boating, coffee experiences from cultivation to cup and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, you'll start your morning boat cruise to discover the various islands of Lake Kivu. On this day, you'll head for the Volcanoes National Park. On your way, make a stopover and enjoy Rwanda's coffee experiences at the Kopakaki cooperative. On arrival, spend your free time enjoying the lodge's facilities.

Day 5: Volcanoes National Park + trekking with golden monkeys, cultural experiences

Steps: Parc National Des Volcans

On this special day, you'll have the rare opportunity to observe the famous golden monkeys. You'll set off on the Golden Monkey Trek to observe the famous Rwandan monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. Spend an hour with them and return to base in time for lunch. On arrival at the lodge for lunch, enjoy lunch at the hotel or a local restaurant in the town of Musanze, with an afternoon cultural experience at Gorilla Guardians Village, the ancient cultural village of Ibyiwacu. You will then be transferred to Kigali for your nightlife experience.

Day 6: Purchases and departures

On your last day in Kigali, we'll take you to your flight home.
