Day 1: Arrival and transfer to hotel

Upon arrival, you'll be picked up at the airport by our driver-guide for meet-and-greet services and hotel transfer. Depending on your arrival, you'll start by exchanging currency or purchasing a local Sim, enjoy the amenities of your property with dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: City tour of Kigali with transfer to Musanze

Steps: Ruhengeri Musanze

After breakfast, you'll start your tour with the Kigali City Tour and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Later after lunch, you'll transfer to Musanze, home of the mountain gorillas. The journey north crosses the magnificent terraced hills that characterize much of Rwanda's landscape and climbs steadily to the base of the Virunga volcanoes. Enjoy an afternoon of cultural activities at Gorilla Guardians, the ancient cultural village of Ibyiwacu.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and cultural experiences

Steps: Ruhengeri Musanze

On this special day, you'll have the rare opportunity to observe Rwanda's famous mountain gorillas. Following the gorillas through the forested slopes of Virunga is a magical experience. You'll arrive at the gorillas, spend an hour with them and be back at base in time for lunch. On arrival at the Lodge for lunch, you'll enjoy lunch at the hotel or at a local restaurant in the town of Musanze later in the afternoon. Community walk and banana beer-making experiences. Enjoy the amenities of your property.

Day 4: Trekking to the golden monkeys and Lake Kivu

Steps: Kibuye Karongi

On this day, you'll set off on Golden Monkeys Trekking to see the famous Rwandan mountain in Volcanoes National Park. Have lunch in the local restaurant before departing from the foothills of the Virunga volcanoes and heading for the shores of Lake Kivu at Karongi.

Day 5: Walking adventure on Lake Kivu and the canopy

Steps: Parc National De Nyungwe

After breakfast, you'll start your morning boat cruise to discover the various islands in the lake. On this day, you'll head for Nyungwe National Park at an altitude of 1,600-2,950 m above sea level, this mountainous rainforest reserve is rich in flora and fauna. with over 260 species of trees and shrubs, and more than 100 types of orchid and giant lobelia. As well as incredible biodiversity, the park also offers breathtaking views. On arrival, lunch with an afternoon canopy walking adventure. During your hike, you may also spot migratory birds, including Ross's touraco, gray-cheeked hornbill, red-breasted hawk and royal sunbird. After lunch, spend the afternoon relaxing at the Lodge.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and tea experiences

Steps: Parc National De Nyungwe

On this day, you'll enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge before embarking on an exciting trek in search of chimpanzee communities. Rwanda's chimpanzee population is estimated at around 400-500 individuals, confined to Nyungwe National Park, including a small community in the Cyamudongo forest. Prepare to hear these excitable primates before you see them, as their hooting travels through the deep forest. After these experiences, you'll enjoy your afternoon tea planting experiences with the local Gisakura community. Relax on your property and enjoy the amenities of your Lodge.

Day 7: Trekking with the Colobus monkeys and visit to the museum

Steps: Parc National De Nyungwe, Nyanza

On this day, you'll enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge before embarking on an exciting hike in search of Colobus monkey communities. During your hike, you may also spot migratory birds, including Ross's touraco, gray-cheeked hornbill, red-breasted hawk and royal souimanga. After lunch, spend the afternoon driving to the city of Kigali. On your way, you'll also experience Rwandan culture at the former King's Palace in Nyanza, transfer to Kigali.

Day 8: Airport transfer

On your last day in Rwanda, you'll be picked up by your professional guide and driver, and off you go for a shopping spree at the local market, with transfer to the airport.
