Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
Welcome and assistance at Kilimanjaro airport. Our guide will be waiting for you in the arrival hall with a welcome sign.
Transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha.
Arusha to Serengeti South (Ndutu region)
Steps: Arusha
Morning: Early departure from Arusha for the Ndutu region in the southern Serengeti (~6-hour drive or one-hour flight).
Afternoon: Game drive on the Ndutu plains, at the heart of the calving season (December to March). Observe large herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, accompanied by their newborn calves. Predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas are also very active during this period.
Evening: Overnight in a tented camp or lodge in the Ndutu area.
Serengeti South to Ngorongoro Crater
Steps: Serengeti National Park
Morning: Early morning safari in the Ndutu area to enjoy the spectacular scenes of migration and calving.
Noon: Departure for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with an optional break at Olduvai Gorge, a world-famous archaeological site.
Afternoon: Arrival at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Relax and enjoy the panoramic view from your lodge.
Evening: Overnight in a lodge or camp near the crater rim.
Safari in the Ngorongoro Crater and transfer to Kilimanjaro airport
Steps: Ngorongoro Crater
Morning: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. See the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant and buffalo) as well as hippos, flamingos and other animals in this unique setting.
Noon: Climb the crater and return to Arusha.
Afternoon: Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight
