Moremi Day Trip
Embark on a full-day excursion to the Moremi Game Reserve, the only protected area in the Okavango Delta, often considered one of Africa's most beautiful game reserves. Game viewing from a Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 open safari vehicle is one of the most exceptional safari experiences in Africa, and being able to enjoy it in one day is ideal for those with limited time.
This safari is ideal for first-timers, family groups with children over 5, photographers or special interest groups, such as birdwatchers. Our safari vehicles are specially equipped for safaris. Although they have canvas roofs offering protection from the sun, we nevertheless advise you to wear a hat and sun cream during the summer months, and to bring a warm jacket if you are traveling during the winter.

Detail of the stay : Moremi Day Trip - 1 day
Steps: Moremi
A full-day tour of the Moremi Game Reserve usually starts early in the morning and ends in the late afternoon. Your safari guide will collect you from your accommodation between 5 and 6 am, depending on the season. We recommend starting the safari as early as possible, as the early hours of the morning are an excellent time for game viewing. From Maun, we'll head north before arriving at the Mawana veterinary checkpoint, or "Buffalo Fence" as most people call it. Once we've crossed the fence, our safari begins, as there are no longer any fences to prevent the movement of wild animals. You can enjoy a light breakfast at the park's South Gate. You can tell your guide what you're hoping to see, and he'll know exactly where to take you. Alternatively, you can trust him to take you to some of the best places Moremi has to offer. Be on the lookout for a variety of wildlife, such as elephants, hippos, buffalo, blue wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, lions, etc.Your guide will find a picturesque spot where you'll stop for a picnic lunch in the afternoon. You will then set off on another safari towards the park's exit, before returning to Maun, where your guide will drop you off at your accommodation.
