Day 1

Arrive in Maun, gateway to the Okavango Delta and Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

You will be met at the airport and transferred to your accommodation at Jumpstreet Chalets or a similar establishment.

Jumpstreet Chalets offer comfortable accommodation in rustic brick and thatch chalets, with swimming pool and breakfast facilities. Dinner in town with your host in the evening.

Day 2

After a hearty breakfast, you'll set off in a 4x4 vehicle to explore the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

Picnic lunch en route to your mobile camp and game viewing along the way.

Arrive at camp in the late afternoon, where you can relax or opt for a sunset game drive.

Day 3

Exploring the Kalahari

Set off on safari with your experienced guide to track desert wildlife, including gemsbok, springbok and the legendary Kalahari black lion, an iconic symbol of the desert.

The Kalahari is renowned for its unique wildlife, including springbok, gemsbok, meerkats and a wide variety of bird species.


Evenings in the Kalahari:

As night falls, your evenings in the Kalahari will be an immersive experience.

Gather around the fire under a starry sky and listen to the calls of wild animals as the sounds of the desert come alive at night. From the calls of jackals to the roars of lions in the distance, the symphony of nature creates a mesmerizing backdrop.


stargazing -

the Kalahari's clear, unpolluted skies offer incredible stargazing opportunities. With minimal light interference, constellations, planets and the Milky Way are strikingly visible, offering breathtaking views of the universe.

After an early morning game drive, transfer to Maun by vehicle.

Dinner in town with your host.

Day 6

Breakfast and transfer by vehicle to the famous Okavango Delta.

The Okavango Delta is recognized as the world's largest inland delta. This unique ecological phenomenon is characterized by its seasonal flooding, transforming the region into a rich landscape of waterways, floodplains and lush vegetation, home to a great diversity of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles and many species of birds. The delta's unique ecosystem is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 7

3 nights / 4 days Mokoro Trail in the Okavango Delta

A mokoro is a traditional dugout canoe, usually made from local trees such as saucissier or fiberglass, used by locals and visitors alike to navigate the Delta's waterways. This experience provides an intimate exploration of the delta's quiet canals, offering unobtrusive observation of wildlife and birds, difficult to see in a vehicle.

Your days will be spent navigating the canals and waterways of the delta and taking nature walks on the islands that come your way! Your experienced poler guide, a swamp man born and bred in the region, will offer you unique experiences and create unforgettable memories!

Morning

Take part in a morning game activity of your choice (mokoro or nature walk) before returning to your docking station. From here, you will be transferred to Maun to catch your international flight or continue your journey to your next destination.
