As the world watches closely the evolution of the Omicron variant, the government spokesman announced this week a series of measures to tighten travel conditions. First, vaccinated people returning from outside the European Union must now present a test less than 48 hours old when entering France. PCR or antigenic, this should be specified soon. Within Europe, on the other hand, vaccinated people do not need to present a test. For non-vaccinated people, whether they come from a country of the European Union or the rest of the world, they must present a negative test of 24 hours. It should be noted that although flights to the southern African country were recently suspended, they will be resumed from 4 December with a drastic framework. Finally, the government has announced the appearance of a fourth colour to distinguish countries in the world according to the Covid risk. It is scarlet red, and it concerns the countries where the epidemic is active and the variants present, namely for the moment the countries of southern Africa, Zambia,Mauritius and Malawi.
