An innovative concept
It was Jeremy Bismuth and Edouard Gorioux, two entrepreneurs, who came up with the idea of this concept, which allows boat owners to make their boats profitable, but also potential tenants to rent a boat at a price that can be up to 40% cheaper than a professional. Indeed, the purchase of a boat is expensive (maintenance, port space, insurance...), yet it is only used about ten days a year. So why not make this purchase profitable by renting it to individuals? This is how Click&Boat was born in September 2013.

Renting a boat on Click&Boat is easy! Owners post their advertisement online, and can then directly manage the booking requests they receive and choose whether or not to accept the rental. Potential tenants, on the other hand, can view the various ads offered to them in the destination of their choice. Then, simply send a message via the platform to the owner of the boat they are interested in. Once the reservation has been confirmed, owners and tenants ñ together arrange the details of the rental (time and place of delivery ñ keys, contract to be signed, etc.)
At the end of the rental period, both can evaluate each other and leave each other an opinion, which will help guide the users of the platform in their future bookings
