Since early September, Koh Lanta has gone back for a new season! The famous TV show of TF 1 is taking place this time in Fiji. On the occasion of the launch of this new program, we were able to meet with its presenter, Denis Brogniart. He has been working on Fiji and his travels. Meeting with a real adventurer!

What did you think of Fiji?

In terms of beaches and water quality, there has never been such a scenic, pristine and virgin landscape in Koh Lanta. Usually, even in a place at the other end of the world, there is pollution and we are forced to clean the beaches. But in Fiji, at 27 hours of flight from Paris, we are so far away that the region is extremely preserved.

Vegetation is lush and the beaches are white sand, with a crystal clear sea to the incredible color gradient that goes from blue blue to turquoise and all shades of green.

You will also see throughout this season that all contacts with the population have been extremely strong in rewards and have been completely astounded by the reception of the extraordinary facilities .

Are there News in Koh Lanta Fiji?

«The first novelty is the shock of generations because it has been decided to oppose those under 30 years of age. It's a first and not necessarily the most experienced ones are the strongest… In the casting, we also have really nice characters and much more appealing than usual in both teams.

The other novelty is the lost paradise, a test of hidden chests on a small island. For the first time, a yellow candidate will work with a red candidate. That's what we're going to create or alliances or mésalliances, because in these vaults there's benefits. But members of their team will not necessarily be aware of what they have discovered because they are not obliged to tell them by recovering them.

So all this creates a lot of developments, dramaturgy and above all alliances because if these teams are separated by age at the very beginning of the adventure, after 10 days, they will meet and they will have to reform two new teams where there will be yellow and red. So all this expedition on the lost paradise is really very strategic. »

With all your beautiful travel in Koh Lanta, do you still feel like travelling personally?

My passion for travel remained intact. I have always travelled and continue to travel outside the work. This summer I went on a wonderful road trip to Canada for example.

Among the journeys that have most marked me, I loved Cuba. As I have a passion for Kennedy, I have done the entire course of Cuban revolutionaries across the island and went to the Sierra Maestra. It was a very nice journey.
