Here is a hazard of the holidays we could do without: the rain. Indeed, in many parts of France and the world, rain can appear at any time and disrupt the outdoor activity program. There is also the season in which we leave, in the fall or winter, a few showers can easily come and nail us to the hotel or the house we have rented. The best activities to do in rainy weather
It is true that rainy days give the impression that you are not fully enjoying your holiday. We look forward to them and think only of those moments when we can enjoy nature, shopping sessions, in other words, everything that happens outside the house. But sometimes the rain is so torrential that you have no choice but to stay safe with the children, or even alone or in pairs. There are actually many activities to do on rainy days and in the end, these moments can even leave sweet memories in mind. Crossword puzzles, for example, are not necessarily an activity you do alone in your corner, and it can be fun to make suggestions and try to fill out the grids as a family! And then there are board games, board games. With four or five people, you can prepare a relaxed and playful atmosphere. Light candles, make a nice cup of hot chocolate and then play for hours. Often, time passes quickly and we laugh well. As a family, you can also set up manual activities, painting, salt paste, it is the opportunity to experience moments of complicity with the children, moments that you do not always enjoy the rest of the year, when you are caught up in work and the constraints of everyday life. What about the kitchen? A rainy day is not the ideal time to make a cake or pancakes and enjoy a delicious snack that you can enjoy in front of a good entertaining movie. The holiday route, if we often look forward to it, is sometimes very long and we may have to spend endless hours on the road. We often have two schools: night travellers, who prefer to avoid traffic jams at all costs and have their children sleep, and then those who still prefer to drive during the day. To avoid the famous "When do we get there?" of children that tends to repeat itself, the best thing is to keep the whole family busy and entertained. Time goes by faster and we have a lot of fun. Here again, there are crossword puzzles adapted to children, and even magazines that offer a variety of games. At the back, two children can also play cards. And then there are the games that are played with all the members of the family, including the driver, making sure that the road and safety are always his priorities, of course. You can play the game of riddles, someone thinks about something and has to try to make it guess by answering questions. Or at the color game, a color is given by the driver, then the passengers must then find as many things of that color as possible outside the car. The person who finds the most in a given period of time wins the game and attention, an object cannot be identified twice. And if the road is really very long, we can also bring a car DVD player and allow the children to watch a few movies, between two game sessions, and a nap. In any case, on the road and on rainy days, having fun is ultimately quite simple and it is an opportunity to experience moments of entertainment, accomplices, and that contribute to the beautiful atmosphere of the holidays.
