NATURE & PROGRÈS
This association brings together consumers, farmers, producers and processors who are seeking, as its name suggests, to combine respect for nature and a dynamic of progress. Created in 1964, it promotes organic farming in France and Belgium, in particular through its Nature & Progrès certification mark. The rules of this certification are among the most stringent in this area. Among other things, 100% of the raw materials for plants and animals must come from organic farming, and chemical ingredients, GMOs and palm oils are prohibited. Manufacturing methods, environmental management and the place of production are subject to very restrictive requirements, and must take into account, inter alia, human ethics, waste management, local economy, and animal welfare. You will usually find Nature & Progrès certified products in organic stores, green shops or parapharmacies.
