ARTHUR BONNET
Arthur Bonnet has been a kitchen manufacturer for more than 80 years and is the first kitchen manufacturer to be awarded the Origine France garantie label. The brand offers exclusive kitchen models that combine elegance and conviviality.
History. In 1927, when Arthur Bonnet set up a small carpentry business in Geneston in the Nantes region, he first thought only of exploiting his own expertise: woodworking. After the Second World War, his seven sons, now in charge, turned to the production of solid wood furniture. In 1956, they marketed the two-body solid oak buffet for the kitchen: the company's vocation was born. Anticipating the explosion of the fitted kitchen, the company intensified its industrial development in the 1960s. It received the "Laurier d'Or" award for the quality of its production in 1976, deployed abroad and quickly became one of the French leaders in the field of equipped kitchens. While the kitchen opens onto the dining room, Arthur Bonnet invented the friendly kitchen. If the rustic models made the brand's success in the 1980s, the following decade gave pride of place to the contemporary. In the 2000s, Arthur Bonnet continued his innovative approach by collaborating with renowned French designers: designer Didier Gomez for the Atmosphere kitchen, designer Thibault Desombre, but also internationally renowned designer Christian Ghion, who signed the Alice model. In the 2010's, Arthur Bonnet innovated by creating Arthur's Atelier, a real creative space at the heart of its stores. This decoration space allows customers to create a custom kitchen from floor to ceiling, alongside the brand's designer-decorators.
In 2017, the brand celebrated 90 years of French creation.
