MARCHÉ AUX FLEURS ELISABETH II
The flower market on Ile de la Cité extends from Place Louis-Lépine to the Quai de la Corse. It was named the Elizabeth II Flower Market in 2014, in the presence of the British sovereign. It is the ideal place to get seeds or bulbs, choose plants and shrubs to brighten up your balcony, terrace or garden. It is also possible to purchase a bouquet of flowers more easily. Even if you don't buy anything, it's nice to walk around, just to watch and breathe the scent of fragrant plants and admire the small 1900s style pavilions that house the merchants. Note that on Sundays there is also a bird market.
