Around fifteen partner airlines, grouped around American Airlines and British Airways, allow oneworld to create around 1,000 destinations and 160 countries, as well as 7 regional passes. Two products are proposed.
Oneworld Explorer 4 or 6 continents, based on the number of continents visited instead of distance traveled, makes travel and pricing much simpler and more flexible.
Global Explorer makes it possible to leverage partnerships with airlines outside the oneworld Alliance and thus increase the number of destinations. The rates are then calculated in distance traveled. The levels are 26,000, 29,000, 34,000 and 39,000 miles. The journey must contain between 3 and 16 straight alleys, 5 to the maximum for journeys less than 26,000 miles.
In general, oneworld tickets imply that the trip includes at least three oneworld continents, or four if the starting point is in the southern hemisphere or Africa where routes with three continents are not possible. Journeys from one continent to another must be carried out in the same direction (eastward or west). On the other hand, there are no restrictions on backward returns and you are free to travel as you like within the same continent, provided you do not return to the starting point of your trip. The ticket is valid for 12 months.
