In December 2011, the California company Uber launched its high-end mobile service in Paris to order a private driver via a smartphone by downloading an application that quickly seduced tens of thousands of Parisians. Uber also offers you the possibility to order a taxi with the technology that has made its success, in addition to its private chauffeur service. The principle is identical to what has been successful: easy and intuitive control, followed in real-time by the approach, automated payment and rating providing quality service. But unlike the Berline and Moto top offers, taxi fares are regulated by the police prefecture, and Uber users will pay nothing other than the amount displayed on the taximeter.
