Global Ecovillage Network is a European ecovillage association that promotes environmental protection. Founded in 1996, it cooperates closely with several agencies, enabling it to cover the entire world. The European network (GEN Europe) has published a guide for tourists.
What do they propose ? The ecovillage network proposes to work while acquiring some skills (agriculture, écoconstruction, life in community…). Missions incorporate various aspects of ecological design : building, green production, alternative energy.
Where ? Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Oceania.
