If you stay in Rabelais with your motor home, you can stop at some wine growers or farm producers with the label "Bienvenue à la ferme" or "France passion". There are also 4 "official" sites, the Mousseau lake in Avoine for 72 hours maximum, free emptying, water and electricity paid, the Auger Island campsite in Chinon (from April to the end of October), the rue de l'Église area in Chouzé-sur-Loire (water paid) and the Fritillaire campsite in Savigny-en-Véron (mid-April/mid-October). In 2023, a new site will be inaugurated in Chinon.
