Founded in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit organization for the conservation of marine wildlife and flora. Their mission is to put an end to the destruction of marine ecosystems and to the slaughter of species in order to conserve and protect the biodiversity of the world's oceans. They put in place innovative strategies of direct action to investigate, document and intervene if necessary in order to expose and combat illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding biodiversity, they are committed to preserving the survival of the oceans for future generations.
